This course will help you understand the different tools and take advantage of the toolbox shortcuts. You will also be introduced to blending modes and opacity, using masks on the layers and creating layer groups. Lab Fee: $15 Introduction to InDesignMarcos OliveiraWednesday, 7pm to 9:30pmSession S1, S2 • Levels 2-5Course code 705Learn the specifics of how to design print pieces, such as business cards, letterhead, magazine page layouts, newspaper page layouts, flyers and more. You will be introduced to the different aspects of InDesign: shadows, transparencies, typesetting, CMYK, file formats for commercial printing, prepress. Strong emphasis will be given to design in the creation of your pieces and pertinent design principles will be explained. You will also learn how InDesign relates to other Adobe programs like Photoshop and Illustrator. Lab Fee: $15 |
