A packet of materials for purchase to use in the workshop will be provided by the instructor. This packet will consist of:
silver sheet, wire, tubing
Cost: $20 - $25 (Depending on the metals market at the time.)
**This is more economical than ordering individually because most refiners have a minimum order amount greater than we will need in class.
We will talk a lot about the mysteries of soldering and heat. We have torches for your use but if you want to get a torch for use at home and practice with it at the workshop feel free. I recommend a small butane torch like those sold in kitchen stores for crème brulee. They are also available in some hardware stores and cost $20.00 to $50.00.
