Materials List

The Art of Pastels

course code 235

Vincent Mancuso

**STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR HAVING ALL MATERIALS LISTED FOR THE FIRST CLASS MEETING**

Dry pastels range from hard to soft. Hard pastels can be sharpened to a point and, like pastel pencils, will give you finer detail. Soft pastels will render broader and richer color.

Recommended: Good quality brands of pastel sticks: Sennelier, Rembrandt, Grumbacher, Schmincke, Unison, and NuPastel, Pastel pencils (Conte brand).
