Herb Snitzer: The First Five Years, the Last Five Years
1958-1963/2003-2008
Recognized nationally and living locally, Herb Snitzer has been creating dynamic black and white photographs for the past 50 years. From 1957 when he graduated from the Philadelphia College of Art, he moved to New York City where he quickly established himself as one of the top young photojournalists.
He worked for Life, Look, The Saturday Evening Post, Fortune, Time and other national magazines as well as for the New York Times and Herald Tribune. This exhibition features photographs from his first five years of shooting, as well as his most recent body of work.
