Bryant
Both of these popular and nationally known St. Petersburg artists work
in ancient crafts using modern leading-edge techniques. Klein paints
figurative images in recently discovered cloisonne enamels on copper.
Bryant weaves metal threads within multiple layers of vibrantly colored
fabric, "reflecting an inner landscape--wherein rests the spirituality
of mankind."
Claire Jeanine Satin: Reconstructed Meanings
artist's books, sculpture & related objects: 1993 - 2002
This internationally collected artist, whose works appear in the collections
of Museum of Modern Art and the Victoria and Albert Museum among many

her individualized stories in books and installations. This is her first
exhibition at The Arts Center.
Billie Jean Theide: Archive
Recently featured on the cover of Craft Magazine, Theide fashions exquisitely
detailed, functional objects with jewel-like perfection. "In the perfect
piece, concept, function and beauty are equal," maintains this artist
who is also the Chair of the Metals Department at the University of
Illinois at Champaign as well as a teacher in the Master Artists series
at the Arts Center. See her teapots, beverage server, measuring spoons,
