Whitfield Lovell creates installations around life-sized drawings of old photographs that relate to his ancestors. His work has been exhibited throughout the country including the Seattle Art Museum, New York's Studio Museum in Harlem and most recently at the Cheekwood Museum of Art in Nashville.
