Branching Out: Jerry Cutler & Cheryl Bogdanowitsch

a piece by cheryl bogdanowitsch

University of Florida professor Jerry Cutler has exhibited throughout Florida and the Southeast. His work is in permanent collections in Florida and Georgia as well as McGraw-Hill in New York. His paintings are more than just a depiction of landscapes; they evoke his own childhood memories in rural Wisconsin as well as "...Arcadian woodlands of a collective memory."

Cheryl Bogdanowitsch lives and works in the Orlando/Winter Park area where her work is widely collected. She combines found pieces of wood with sculptures of heads or feet that she renders from clay. She paints the resulting sculptures, creating individual personas that produce a gamut of feelings.
