Tom McCarthy
has an MFA from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He has been creating jewelry for over 20 years and has taught at Penland School of Crafts, John C. Campbell Folk School and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts. Tom has been awarded Artist Resource Fund grants from the Pinellas County Department of Cultural affairs and in 2006 received a Fellowship in the Arts from the State of Florida. His work is in numerous public and private collections including the Mint Museum of Craft and Design in Charlotte, NC.
