When can we visit?

Guided tours are available Tuesday through Friday, 10am t0 3pm.
Guided tours and hands-on activity (grades K-7) are available Wednesday through Friday, 10am - 3pm.

Self-guided tours

Self-guided tours are only avaiable for high school grades. Teachers may independently lead groups of no more than thirty students through the museum if they schedule a visit through the Education Department and follow the Arts Center's "gallery manners" for self-guided visits. All self-guided tours must be scheduled two weeks in advance -- we do not accept reservations on short notice. You must provide one chaperone for every ten students. Teachers and Chaperones bear full responsibility for the conduct of their students. A confirmation letter with Arts Center "gallery manners" will be sent in advance.

Additional Information

Along with your tour confirmation letter, each teacher will receive a curriculum guide. Each curriculum guide will give in-depth information on the exhibitions as well as pre- and post-tour hands-on activities adaptable for all grade levels.

Each curriculum guide contains:

Biographical overviews and interviews from the artists on exhibit.
Lesson plans with corresponding Sunshine State Standards for integrating your KidVentures visit back into the classroom.
